"Replica of Misty"

Mixed Media: Watercolour and Acrylic Paint 

"This piece is a replica of Loui Jover’s ‘Misty’. Loui Jover is a mixed media artist who often uses collaged text backgrounds and ink in his portraits. Much of my artwork in the past was inspired by his works. Specifically, with ‘Misty’, my vision for this replica was for it to represent growth and abundance in contrast to the surrounding negative space. This can be seen through the hair which holds values of strength and black pride."- Tamia Burgess
