'When I look at the world as an artist, I can find beauty in even the most mundane: whether it's a busy harbour, a patch of freesias in my mother in law's garden, children playing on the beach, or a busy street scene - there's inspiration everywhere. My work is inspired by colour, light, shadow, composition, subject and romantic interactions.'
