'I create surrealist portraits in paint, inspired by nature and the divinity of the human spirit. I believe nature is magical; and when attuned to our truest selves, we too are magic. This scene is set in Dalton E Tucker Primary's parking lot. It is motivated by the amount of children with heads planted in devices. This is modernity. This painting cautions against paving paradise-imprisoning the essence of nature and the spirits of our children.'
