'Locals in our community are not only human. Our fauna belongs here as much as we do, and contributes to making Bermuda unique. These 'locals' deserve our respect, and deserve to be truly seen. The parrot fish in particular, is an essential member of our community; they clean our reefs and produce our pink sands. Tuning in and acknowledging the roles different species play is key to our survival in the modern world.'
