Marking the beginning of the Bermuda Tourism Authority’s Art Month on October 1st, Bermudian artist Jahbarri Wilson presented a solo exhibition, Meet Us In The Onion Patch, in the Maree Lounge at The Loren. The exhibition was the fourth in a continuing partnership between Masterworks Museum and The Loren, designed to showcase local artists beyond traditional gallery spaces.

Wilson’s vivid canvases blend abstraction with loose figuration, creating works that feel both intentional and spontaneous. His practice is driven by curiosity—about Bermudian history, global cultures, and the expressive possibilities of painting.
Meet Us In The Onion Patch — a symbol that has dual and at times conflicting meanings for Bermudians — captures the dualities running throughout Wilson’s work: personal versus communal; physical versus spiritual; playful versus reflective; deliberate versus spontaneous.
The exhibition was available from October 1 - November 21, 2025, with the Artist Talk taking place October 7th.
