'I focus on subtle, connective currents in life. In this piece, bodies reach and take on the pulsing rhythm and the surrounding colours of a bumping, Carnival soca fete. The right shows figures dancing with one another. United. While the left shows isolated figures and limbs, with locked and closed off hands. Together, the panels show dancers now connected across the space separating them, highlighting an unparalleled Bermudian community spirit. They celebrate wonderfully scandalous gyrations that are often expressed in an unseen, private world.'
